The BSA Gold Star will be launched in India with a bang on August 15, taking on the Royal Enfield

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles owner Classic Legends will launch BSA as their third brand in India on Independence Day on August 15. Gold Star 650 will come as the first model in this country.

Classic Legends under Mahindra is determined to create a stir in the Indian motorcycle market. Why do you know? The company revived the two brands Jawa and Yezdi which had died earlier. BSA was bought by Vintage Brand to establish a new brand. Classic Legends is going to launch them as their third brand in India this time. BSA Gold Star 650 will enter India on Independence Day this year.

BSA Gold Star 650 is being launched in the Indian market in a new avatar on 15 August 2024, i.e. Independence Day. The company hopes that this modern classic style bike will make a mark in the hearts of Indians. It is inspired by the original BSA Gold Star model of the fifties and sixties. Traditional tear-drop shaped oil tank, round headlights and long wide seats with long handlebars will be seen. Several parts of the bike have chrome touches.

The BSA Gold Star 650 features a 652 cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine for high-performance. It will produce a maximum power of 45 bhp at 5,000 rpm and 55 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Also available with five speed gearbox and slip and assist clutch.

Talking about the hardware setup, the BSA Gold Star 650 is based on tubular steel double cradle frame. With which there is a 41 mm telescopic front fork and rear twin shock absorbers. 320mm front and 255mm rear disc brakes are present. Dual channel ABS will also be offered. Estimated price of BSA Gold Star 650 may start from Rs 4.5 lakh. The rival in the market is the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
