Tecno Spark 8 launched with MediaTek Helio P22 chipset and 5000mah battery in India. It is the successor of the Tecno Spark 7 which was debuted back in April. The Spark 8 runs on Android 11 (Go edition) OS with HiOS 7.6 UI on top and comes in Iris Purple, Atlantic Blue, and Turquoise Cyan colour variants.

The Spark 8 features a 6.52-inches IPS LCD HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) resolution panel with a teardrop notch design, 20:9 aspect ratio and a slightly thick bezel on the bottom. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC and coupled with 2GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. There is also a microSD card slot for the expansion of storage. In terms of the camera, It is equipped with a dual rear camera setup that houses a 16-megapixel (primary) camera + AI lens. On the front, there is an 8-Megapixel selfie snapper.
The device is backed by a 5000mah battery and supports standard charging technology. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone includes the support of dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a micro-USB port, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The sensor onboard includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light sensor, and a rear side-mounted fingerprint reader.
Tecno Spark 8 Price and Availability
Tecno Spark 8 carries a price tag of Rs.7,999 for the solo 2GB + 64GB storage variant. The company has confirmed that the Spark 8 will be available via major brick-and-mortar stores across the country from September 15th.
