Tecno POVA 2 has been debuted with MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and a 7,000mAh battery in the Philippines. It is the successor of the Tecno Pova which was launched back in October last year. TECNO POVA 2 runs HiOS 7.6 based on Android 11 OS out of the box and comes in three colors – Polar Silver, Power Blue, & Dazzle Black.

Tecno POVA 2 features a 6.9-inches 20:5:9 IPS LCD FHD+ (1080 x 2460 pixels) resolution display with a 180Hz touch sampling rate, 480 nits peak brightness, and a top centered positioned punch-hole cutout. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and coupled with up to 6GB + 128GB expandable storage.
In terms of the camera, The smartphone is equipped with a quad rear camera setup that houses a 48-Megapixel (primary) camera + 2-Megapixel (macro) lens + 2-Megapixel (depth) lens + 2-Megapixel (AI) lens. On the front, there is an 8-Megapixel selfie snapper. In terms of connectivity, The smartphone comes with a dual sim slot, 4G, dual-band Wi-fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS, a USB Type C port for charging, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The sensor onboard includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The device is fueled by a 7,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging technology. Lastly, It measures 173.32 x 78.78 x 9.62mm in thickness and weighs 185g.
Tecno POVA 2 Price & Availability
The 6GB + 128GB storage variant of the Tecno POVA 2 is priced at ₱7,990 (around Rs.12,193). The pre-order of the handset will start from June 5 in the Philippines.
There is no confirmation about the international availability of the device yet.
