TCL 20Y debuted in South American and African markets as the new budget smartphone. The smartphone comes with MediaTek octa-core SoC, waterdrop notch big display, 4000mah battery, 48-megapixel triple rear camera, and more. A few days ago the company also revealed TCL L10 Pro which was also a budget smartphone.

TCL 20Y features a 6.52 inches IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and waterdrop notch design along with thick bezels. Under the hood, the smartphone comes equipped with a MediaTek Helio A25 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot.
In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the phone has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is running on Android 11 with the company’s skin on top.
The TCL 20Y comes equipped with a 4000mah battery and supports 10W charging. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 4G LTE, USB Type-C port, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The phone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well.
TCL 20Y Price, and Availability
As per the report, TCL 20Y comes in a solo configuration of 4GB + 64GB priced at GHS799 ( Rs. 9700 approx ) and it is currently available for purchase in South America and Africa. There is no information on when the smartphone will be available for other countries.
