Tata’s EV, launched in 2024, will have the electric car world talking about how much it will cost

Tata Motors has committed to launch ten new electric vehicles in the next five years. Recently, the company has confirmed the launch of the electric version of their popular SUV Harrier. The car will come in a full-battery powered version by next year i.e. 2024. The picture of Tata Harrier EV on social media posts also got a lot of response.

Tata Harrier EV will be launched next year

At the Auto Expo 2023, Tata showcased the electric concept model of the Harrier. But the latest pictures show the car with a completely new paint theme. It features a combination of bronze and white. This dual tone theme may also be added to the ICE version of the Harrier SUV later on. Again, Tata may reserve it for the electric version only.

Tata Harrier Electric: Range, Features, Specifications

The Harrier Electric will be based on the company’s Land Rover-derived Omega architecture. Which is also noticeable in the current model. Along with this, the coexistence of Tata’s second generation EV architecture will be noticed. Tata Motors has not yet revealed the battery capacity of the electric vehicle. As reported, it will come with a dual motor all wheel drive setup. Again the vehicle will have vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle charging capacity.

For information, vehicle-to-load charging means that the vehicle can be charged by an external device. Whereas vehicle-to-vehicle is charging from other electric vehicles. It is estimated to be able to provide a range of 400 to 500 km on a full charge. It can be provided with a 60 kWh battery.

Tata Harrier EV: Launch and Price

Tata has confirmed that the Harrier EV will be launched in 2024. It is expected to be launched as Tata’s latest car. The car is expected to be priced between Rs 22 lakh and Rs 28 lakh (ex-showroom).
