Tata Motors took the wraps off its all-new SUV Curvv Coupe concept model last year. It showed a glimpse of the company’s future mid-size SUV. The new ‘digital’ design language and new generation electric architecture made the car a talking point. As already confirmed by the company, the production version of the Curve will be offered in both ICE and Electric options. And now it is heard that the Tata Curvv will also be available on Condensed Natural Gas or CNG fuel.

In the leaked images, a CNG button can be seen on the car’s dashboard along with the climate control panel. As expected, it could have dual-zone climate control, auto park assist and a 360-degree camera with two toggles. The production version of the Tata Curve is expected to carry most of the features of the concept model.
The Tata Curvv’s list of special features may include a floating center console, three-layer dashboard, two free-standing digital screens (one for the instrument cluster and another for the infotainment system), a panoramic sunroof, rotary gear selector, new two-spoke with illuminated logo at the centre. Steering wheel and center armrest.
Tata claims that the electric version of the Curvv will offer a range of 400 to 500 km on a full charge. However, no information regarding the battery pack, power, and torque figures of the car has been revealed. However, it will offer a larger battery pack than the Nexon EV. The IC version of the car will be powered by a 1.2 liter DI turbo petrol engine. It will produce 125 bhp of power and 225 Nm of torque. It will come in both manual and automatic gearbox options.
If the Tata Curvv is offered in a CNG version, it may use the company’s twin cylinder technology. which is offered in Altroz CNG. Which is expected to be in the upcoming Punch CNG and Nexon CNG as well. The final version of Curvv is likely to be launched in the Indian market by 2024.
