Vietnam's Vinfast is set to launch three electric vehicles at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo. These cars are – VF7, VF8 and VF 9. The much awaited car-bike show Bharat Mobility 2025 will be organized this month. This is where these three SUVs will debut. It is to be noted that Vinfast started the factory work in Tamil Nadu in February last year. The company released a teaser of the EV lineup today.
Vinfast VF 9
At the top of the lineup is the company's flagship electric SUV VinFast VF 9. A little over 5 meters in length. The VF 9 is available globally in two variants – Eco and Plus. Both models have a 123 kWh battery pack, which provides a range of 531 km per charge. The car has dual electric motors and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup, which produces 402 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque. It takes 6.6 seconds to touch 0-100 kmph and has a top speed of 200 kmph.
Vinfast VF 8
The VF 8 is a mid-size crossover SUV. Length is a little over 4.7 meters. It is available in Eco and Plus variants. There is an 87.7 kWh battery pack. Offers a range of 412 km per charge. Like the VF 9, the VF 8 will also be available with dual motors with AWD, producing 349 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque in the Eco variant and 620 Nm of torque in the Plus variant. The VF 8 can touch 0-100 kmph in just 6.6 seconds.
Vinfast VF 7
The length of the car is a little over 4.5 meters. This car is also available in Eco and Plus variants. The Eco model has a single front-mounted motor that delivers 201 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque. The Plus, on the other hand, has dual motors with AWD that produce 348 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Both the variants have a 75.3 kWh battery pack, capable of offering a range of 450 km per charge.
