Starting in 2025, Tata Motors has unveiled new versions of two of its popular budget cars. The new Tiago has already been launched. New Tiago petrol and Tiago EV have come to the market. The price of this compact sedan starts from Rs 5.99 lakh. Whereas the electric version is priced at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Let's see what updates the Tata Tiago range has received.
2025 Tata Tiago range specifications and features
The new Tata Tigor retains its overall design. But some styling elements have undergone material changes. The Tigor, for example, has a modified front grille along with front and rear bumpers. It gives a new look to the car. Besides, that familiar design has been retained along with the headlight and DRL setup.
Other changes come in the sedan's features list. The base model gets digital instrument cluster, smart steering wheel, fabric seats, ISOFIX seat anchors, airbags and more. On the other hand, the top variant adds wireless smartphone connectivity, 360-degree camera, auto wipers and headlights, cruise control, and a 10.3-inch infotainment system.
Despite the cosmetic updates and new features, the car's performance remains unchanged. The Tigo has a 1.2 liter engine in petrol. It produces 84 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. It is also available in CNG model. Its output is 72 bhp and 95 Nm. Gearbox options include manual and automatic. The Tigayo EV comes with a 26 kWh battery pack that has a range of 315 km.
