Tata Curvv: Big bang before Independence Day, Tata Curve will launch on August 7 shaking the market

Putting an end to speculations, Tata Motors has announced the launch date of their much awaited car, the Curve. This SUV by Coop Design is going to be launched in India on August 7. Most importantly, it will come in three variants – petrol, diesel, and electric. It will be positioned between Nexon and Harrier. The car will be rivaled by the upcoming Citroen Basalt.

Tata Curve and Tata Curve EV Features

Tata's new car will have three driving modes – City, Eco, and Sport. It will carry the digital driver display from Nexon EV and Punch EV. Tata Curve will have automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charger, sunroof, and multi-functional steering wheel. There are also speculations that Adas technology may match.

Tata Curve Specifications

The diesel variant of the Tata Curve is likely to use the 1.5-litre diesel engine found in the Altroz ​​and Nexon. Not much is known about the turbo petrol engine. The gearbox will include six-speed manual and automatic transmission options.

Tata Curve EV

The Curve EV will be built on Tata's new Active.EV platform. The first model of this architecture is the Punch EV. It is said that the new car will be able to run 500 km on a full charge. It can offer vehicle to load functionality, brake regeneration, driving modes, and DC charging. The Tata Curve EV will compete with the MG ZS EV, BYD Atto 3, and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV in the Indian market.
