Tata brings the latest electric car, will run 500 km on a full charge, what will the price be?

Tata Motors (Tata Motors) has announced that they will launch several cars in the current financial year. Tata Harrier EV is on that list. The electric version of the Harrier was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2023. The car made its debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year. It was clear that the car is going to be launched in the Indian market soon. However, it is not possible to say the exact timing of the launch right now. Let's know about the Tata Harrier EV in detail.

Tata Harrier EV – Design

The Tata Harrier EV will be identical to the ICE model except that the electric vehicle will have its own features. The front gets a sleek, blanked-off grille with horizontal slats, a full LED daytime running light and a redesigned bumper with vertical slats. It will have the same side profile as the ICE model. But it may get dual tone aero design alloy wheels. Seaweed Green may be added as a new color option.

Tata Harrier EV – Interior

The Tata Harrier EV's cabin features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 10-speaker JBL sound system with every mode, twin-spoke steering wheel, all-digital instrument panel, touch-based HVAC panel, powered and Ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof.

Other notable features include dual zone climate control, auto dimming rear view mirror, electrically adjustable and foldable side mirrors, steering mounted controls, wireless charger, ambient lighting, rear AC vent and 6 airbags.

Tata Harrier EV – Battery and Range

When it comes to driving range, the Tata Harrier EV will be more advanced than a number of existing electric vehicles. It has a larger battery pack. It will be able to cover a distance of 500 km on a full charge. Again this is Tata's first EV to offer all wheel drive.

Tata Harrier EV – Estimated Price

The Tata Harrier EV is likely to be priced between Rs 25-35 lakh (ex-showroom). It is expected to be at a premium compared to its IC counterpart. The car will compete with the upcoming Mahindra XUV.e9, XUV.e8 and Hyundai Creta EV. Besides, BYD Atto 3 and MG ZS EV are in the market as rivals.
