Tata Altroz Racer has ended the wait and launched in India today. The price of this new sporty version of the Altroz premium hatchback starts at Rs 9.49 lakh in the country). However, ahead of the launch, the car's brochure was leaked, revealing a lot of information about the variant from features. Tata Altroz Racer – Design
Tata Altroz Racer has been launched in India in three variants R1, R2 and R3. These are again available in three color options – Automatic Orange, Avenue White and Pure Grey. The car features a dual paint scheme, blacked out roof and bonnet. White stripes run along the hood and roof. It gets blacked out Altroz badging, dark themed alloy wheels and racer badges to distinguish it from the regular model.
Tata Altroz Racer – Features
Inside, the Tata Altroz Racer also features red accents along the aircon vents, center console and seat upholstery. Important features include 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, 7-inch digital instrument panel, 360-degree surround camera with blind spot monitor, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats and electrically adjustable sunroof.
Tata Altroz Racer – Engine and Price
The Tata Altroz Racer is powered by a 1.2 liter turbocharged petrol engine. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. This engine is also used in Nexon. Its output is 118 bhp and 170 Nm. The R1, R2 and R3 variants of the car are priced at Tk 9.49 lakh, Tk 10.49 lakh and Tk 10.99 lakh respectively (ex-showroom). The rival in the market is the Hyundai i20 N Line.
