If you are planning to buy an electric scooter, great news for you. Another EV debuted, the Suzuki e Access. Suzuki Motorcycle India unveiled the scooter today at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Access to one of the most popular 125 cc petrol scooters in the country's market. Suzuki has introduced the electric version of it.
This electric scooter will challenge scooters like Honda Activa e, Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Ola S1, Ather Rizta. Suzuki claims that it can give a range of 95 km on a full charge. The company has released the detailed features and specifications of the scooter.
Suzuki e Access scooter features and range
The Suzuki E Access electric scooter has a 3.07 kWh LFP battery pack, which can go 95 km on a full charge. There is a 4.1 kW electric motor to generate power to the two wheels. The maximum speed is 71 km per hour. A maximum torque of 15 Nm will be generated from the motor. The battery takes 4 hours 30 minutes to charge from 0-80%.
It will take 6 hours to fully charge the battery of the Suzuki E Access scooter. Doing it with a 240 watt portable charger will take that time. But if you use fast charger, then 0-80% charge will take 1 hour 12 minutes and full charge will take 2 hours 12 minutes.
Suzuki e Access offers three riding modes and reverse mode. Notable features include LED lighting, LED DRLs, combi braking system, remote fuel lid opener, dual front packs, 24.4-litre underseat storage, digital console and smartphone connectivity. Suzuki may reveal the price and availability of the scooter soon.
