Such an opportunity will not come! Triumph has reduced the price of the bike by Rs 48000

Prices of various things are increasing in this priceless market. Cars and two-wheelers topped the price hike list. But in this critical situation, Triumph announced to reduce the price of some of their bikes in India by walking in the opposite direction. Street Triple R and RS models are cheaper by Rs 48,000 and Rs 12,000 respectively. As a result, the current prices of the Triumph Street Triple R and RS start from Tk 9.95 lakh and Tk 11.95 lakh respectively (ex-showroom).

The new prices for the Triumph Street Triple R and RS have already been implemented. Although the price has been reduced, there has been no change in the technical aspects of the two motorcycles. The Triumph Street Triple's Pure White and Silver Ice colors are cheaper by Rs 48,000, currently starting at Rs 9.95 lakh. Whereas Matte Orange and Crystal White shades are cheaper by Tk 22,000, the new price is Tk 10.21 lakh.

On the other hand, the silver ice color variant of the Triumph Street Triple RS will now cost Rs 11.95 lakh due to a price cut of Rs 12,000. However, the prices of the three Phantom Black, Carnival Red and Cosmic Yellow models have increased by Rs 14,000, starting from Rs 12.21 lakh. All above are as per ex-showroom price.

Triumph Street Triple R and RS engines

The same engine is used in the Triumph Street Triple R and RS. It is a 765 cc inline, three cylinder, liquid cooled engine. It is offered with two types of tuning. The Triple R produces a maximum power of 118.4 bhp and 80 Nm of torque. While the RS outputs 128 bhp and 80 Nm. Both models feature a 6-speed gearbox with quick shifter.

Triumph Street Triple R and RS Specifications

There are several hardware differences between the Triumph Street Triple R and RS. While the RS gets a Showa Big Piston USD fork and Ohlins monoshock rear suspension, the Triple R gets a Showa Separate Function fork and a Showa rear monoshock. Both flowers are adjustable.

Braking performance is handled by Brembo Stylema calipers on the RS, while the Street Triple R gets Brembo M4.32 calipers. Again the tires of the two models are different. The R gets Continental ContiRoad rubber, while the RS gets higher spec Pirelli Supercorsa SP V3 tires. Again the first has an LCD unit, while the second model has a TFT instrument console.
