Triumph is a very famous company in the world of premium motorcycles. This time they announced that they are going to launch the new version of the legendary Street Triple 765 range in India. 2023 Street Triple R and Street Triple RS will debut in the country on June 16. The two bikes are estimated to be priced at Rs 10 lakh and Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
Street Triple R and Street Triple RS are coming in new versions
Note that Triumph will not be launching the Moto2 version in India. They have already started taking bookings for both motorcycles. The news is that the Street Triple range is about to get a massive update. Changes can be seen in the design, performance and even the engine. It has a new tank shroud and a muscular 15 liter fuel tank. As before, the bike will come with bug-eyed LED headlamps. However, slight variations in design can be noticed.
Both the 2023 Street Triple R and RS models feature 12mm wider handlebars. A new exhaust is provided to emit a melodious sound from the engine. This is a single piece unit. Triple is also bringing updates to the engine of their new version of the bike. The new engines of the Street Triple R and RS will produce 118 bhp and 128 bhp respectively. Torque will increase from 79 Nm to 80 Nm.
Triumph is giving cornering ABS, switchable traction control to their new version of Street Triple R and RS. The Street Triple R has four riding modes – Road, Rain and Sport. The Street Triple RS, on the other hand, comes with five riding modes – Road, Rain, Sport, Rider and Track. Besides, there is Bluetooth functionality, shift assist up and down quick shifter, ride-by-wire throttle, immobilizer etc.
