Snapdragon 778G vs MediaTek Dimensity 1200 – Benchmarks
Snapdragon 778G powered smartphone is able to score around 770 in single cores and scores around 2800 in multi-cores while the MTK Dimensity 1200 powered smartphone grabs a score of 900+ and scores nearly 3200 in multi-cores. Talking about the Antutu scores the chipset is able to score nearly equal to 5,26,000 while the Dimensity 1200 grabs around 6,55,000.
Conclusion
As the Benchmark suggests that the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 can perform better compared to Snapdragon 778G but these Geekbench scores can’t suggest the actual performance and these scores also vary from smartphone to smartphone and OEMs. As the Dimensity 1200 is a flagship chipset from MediaTek but the Snapdragon 778G is an upper mid-range chipset from Qualcomm. The main thing that will tell apart which chipset is better is the price if you get Snapdragon 778G powered smartphone for Rs 2,000 or more less you may consider it ( considering other specs same ).
