Samsung Galaxy A3 Core has been launched with an 8-megapixel rear camera and 3000mah battery in Nigeria. It is the successor of Samsung Galaxy A2 Core which was debuted back in 2019. Samsung Galaxy A3 Core runs on Android (Go edition) out of the box and comes in Blue, Red and black color options.

Samsung Galaxy A3 core comes with thick bezels on the top and chin. It features a 5.3-inch HD+ (720×1,480 pixels) TFT LCD display with 16:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A3 Core is powered by a quad-core chipset that is clocked at 1.5GHz. The Soc is coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. For more storage, It also has a dedicated microSD card slot for the expansion of storage up to 512GB. In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy A3 Core is equipped with a single 8-megapixel (primary) sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, The entry-level smartphone has a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.4.


The company said that the back camera can record full-HD resolution videos at 30fps. It packs with a 3,000mAh battery with Micro-USB charging. For connectivity, The phone includes the support of Wi-Fi (2.4GHz), a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, LTE, and Bluetooth 5.0. In terms of sensors, It has an accelerometer, proximity, gyroscope, and an ambient light sensor.


It runs on the Android Go platform which means it has pre-installed Google Go edition apps which are specially introduced for fast and easy use on an entry-level smartphone.

The Galaxy A3 Core carries a price tag of NGN 32,500 (around Rs. 6,200) in the country. It is available for purchase at Samsung stores and partner stores. However, the company has not made any statement on its international availability and pricing.
