Simple One: 1 million people waiting to buy! Finally the delivery of the 212 km mileage e-scooter has started

The manufacturer Simple Energy has announced the start of deliveries of the electric scooter Simple One, which was launched last month in the Indian market.Simple Energy). The company announced that it will be the first to hand over the keys to the electric scooter worth Rs 1.45 lakh to the buyers in Bangalore. Later, delivery will start in other cities of the country, said Simple.

Delivery of Simple One has started

It should be noted that in August, 2021, the company pulled the curtain on Simple One. It was launched almost two years after its unveiling. The scooter is reported to have received more than 1 lakh bookings so far. It is being manufactured in a factory in Tamil Nadu. The annual production capacity there is 1 million units. The scooter has a 5 kWh battery pack. The company claims that it will give a range of 212 kilometers on a full charge.

Simple One : Electric motor, battery and range

Simple OneIts electric PMS motor will generate 11.3 bhp of power and 72 Nm of torque. With a top speed of 105 kmph, the scooter is claimed to be able to accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in 2.77 seconds. Suhas Rajkumar, Founder and CEO of Simple Energy said, “We are delighted to deliver Simple One. It started from Bangalore. We are confident of giving our customers the full joy of e-scooter ownership.”

Incidentally, Simple One is made entirely of indigenous technology. Only its battery cells are imported from abroad. It is the first electric scooter in the country to have a thermal management system jointly developed with IIT Indore. Other features include digital console with Bluetooth connectivity, vehicle telematics via app.

The Simple One comes with a 750 watt charger. By which 0 to 80 percent charge can be done in 5 hours and 54 minutes. Currently the company is in the process of expanding their outlets in India. Simple Energy has set a target of opening 160 to 180 dealerships in 40 to 50 cities in the future.
