Samsung Galaxy M01 Core finally launched in India with the Android Go platform. The South Korean company introduced as the most affordable smartphone, the base variant of the phone costs Rs 5,499 for 1GB RAM + 16GB storage, while consumers need to pay Rs 6,499 for 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy M01 core seems to be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A01 Core that was launched in Indonesia last week.

Samsung Galaxy M01 core features a 5.3-inch HD+ resolution (720 x 1480 pixels) TFT display panel. It is powered by Quad-Core Mediatek 6739 SoC with PowerVR GE8100 and paired up to 2GB of RAM. In terms of camera, the phone equipped with a single, 8-megapixel camera sensor at the back, along with an LED flash. On the front, it comes with a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone is also packed with 3500 mah battery and 5W normal charger.

For Connectivity, it includes support of Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The dual-SIM (Nano) Samsung Galaxy M01 Core runs on Android Go with One UI on top that offers a Dark Mode integration and features including Intelligent Inputs and Intelligent Photos. Samsung has also provided up to 32GB of onboard storage on the Galaxy M01 Core that is expandable via microSD card.

As mentioned earlier, The base variant of Samsung Galaxy M01 Core costs at Rs. 5,499 for the 1GB RAM + 16GB storage option, and its 2GB RAM + 32GB storage model carries a price tag of Rs. 6,499. Both come in Black, Blue, and Red color variants. The smartphone will be available from 29 July in the country through Samsung’s retail stores and the Samsung India e-Store as well as leading online stores.
