Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 Fitness Tracker Launched With 15-Day Battery Life, Heart Rate Monitoring and more in a Virtual Event


Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 fitness tracker has been launched along with it Samsung also launched new devices like Galaxy Tab A7, Galaxy A42 5G, and trio wireless charging pad in the ‘Life Unstoppable’ virtual event. Galaxy Fit 2 is the successor of Galaxy Fit that was launched in India last year in June. Samsung says the Galaxy Fit 2 has been launched to fulfill the increasing demand for fitness trackers during this pandemic.


Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 Specifications


Samsung has only shared a few specifications and features of Galaxy Fit 2. It can automatically detect and track up to five different types of activities and offer information such as calories burned, distance, heart rate, and more. It comes with built-in sleep tracking with a Sleep Score to assess how deep your sleep was.


Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 features a rectangular 3D glass AMOLED display enclosed in a silicone band. Samsung has added more than 70 face options. There is a touch-sensitive button on the bottom of the screen that will presumably act as the home button.


The Galaxy Fit 2 battery life will last up to 15 days on a charge, says Samsung. The Fit 2 has many of the basic smartwatch capabilities, including displaying calls and notifications. It even has a quick reply option with preset responses for Android phones. But it lacks more advanced features, such as mobile payments and music streaming.


Samsung has not revealed the pricing and availability for the Galaxy Fit 2 and is expected to come soon. The fitness tracker comes in two color variants namely, Black and Scarlet. It has a similar design as the original Galaxy Fit with a small 3D display and a silicon strap.
