Samsung Galaxy F42 5G spotted on Google Play Console listing revealing the key specifications. The smartphone will debut as the successor to the last year launched Samsung Galaxy F41. The Galaxy F41 was announced with an AMOLED display, triple rear camera, Exynos 9611 chipset, 6000mah battery, and more.

As per the listing shared by Tamilan Technical, a Samsung smartphone with code name f42x ( rumored to comes as Galaxy F42 5G ) will feature a Full-HD+ display with 1080 x 2009 pixels resolution and 480 DPI pixel density. The image attached with the listing also tipped an Infinity V-shaped display. The smartphone will come running on Android 11 out of the box and may sport One UI skin on top.
Under the hood, it will come powered with a MediaTek MT6833V/NZA octa-core chipset that includes 2 x Cortex A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 6 x Cortex A55 cores clocked at 2.00 GHz. It is the model number of the MediaTek DImensity 700 processor that comes coupled with Mali G57 MC2 GPU. The device is listed with a 6GB RAM variant and may come in other RAm variants as well.
A few days ago some leaks also suggested that Samsung will announce the Galaxy M42 5G and Galaxy F42 5G this month. It is rumored to come as the rebranded version of Galaxy A22 5G with some minor changes. However, the company hasn’t revealed anything regarding the Galaxy F42 5G but it is expected to launch soon.
