Samsung Galaxy A12 spotted on Geekbench with MediaTek Helio P35 chipset


Samsung Galaxy A12 is the upcoming budget smartphone from South Korea based Tech Giant. It is currently spotted on Geekbench listing with Model number SM-A125F and the listing suggests some of the key specifications. The phone is going to be the successor of the Samsung Galaxy A11 that was revealed in March 2020.

Samsung Galaxy A12 Geekbench listing with model number SM-A125F tipped that the phone will come with MediaTek octa-core SoC with model Arm MT6765V/CB. This is the model number of the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset that is integrated with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Thie processor has cortex A53 cores and can be operated at a maximum frequency of 2.3 GHz.



The smartphone is listed with 3GB RAM but the phone may have more RAM variants also. The upcoming Samsung phone scored 169 in the single-core test while 1001 in multi-cores in the Geekbench 5 test. The device geekbench listing is spotted by 91mobiles and later verified by us. The phone is speculated to have a triple rear camera like the Galaxy A11 but may have a higher battery.



The Galaxy A12 may come with a punch-hole display design as per the trend and will sport an IPS display. As per the Naxon Tech report, a Samsung phone with model number SM-A125F has received NFC certification so the Galaxy A12 will come with NFC support for contactless transactions.
