Samsung Exynos 1080 launch set on November 12 in China. The upcoming smartphone chipset from Samsung will be based on the latest 5nm fabrication process and some previous reports claim that it will surpass Snapdragon 865+ in performance and will give strong competition to Kirin 9000 and Apple Bionic A14 Chipset.

As per the previous report, the Samsung Exynos 1080 launching with Arm Cortex-A78 performance cores that is said to be 20% faster than Cortex-A77. The process will integrate with Mali-G78 GPU which brings about a 25% performance increase compared to Mali-G77 GPU. The same Mali G78 GPU also coupled with Kirin 9000 and the GPU performance is awesome.


The ANTUTU Benchmark scores of a phone code-named “Orion” with Samsung Exynos 1080 also revealed. The phone is able to score 693,600 points that are even more than Snapdragon 865+ powered Asus ROG Phone 3. The listing also revealed the smartphone has four Cortex-A78 performance cores and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores.


The Benchmark result also tipped some specifications of the smartphone that includes Android 11, 120Hz refresh rate, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. According to the report, The phone is tipped to debut with the Vivo X60 series similarly Vivo X30 5G also made debut with Samsung Exynos 980 last year.
