India’s popular retro motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield has announced the sale of bikes in the Turkish market. They will do joint business with a company called K-Rides Motorcycle in that country. As an exclusive distributor partner, the company under Kiber Holding will handle sales and service of Enfield.
Royal Enfield to sell motorcycles in Turkey
Royal Enfield is planning to open its first flagship store in Istanbul, Turkey’s largest city. If all goes well, they will complete this work by spring. The Indian brand has decided to expand its business after seeing the growing demand for motorcycles in Turkey. It is said that they will sell a bunch of motorbikes in the market there. Which includes – Bullet, Classic, Hunter, Meteor, Super Meteor, Interceptor, Continental GT, New Himalayan and Shotgun. Each of these is 350 to 650 cc.
In this context, Royal Enfield’s Chief Commercial Officer Guleria said that the details of the Turkish market are at the fingertips of K-Rides. According to him, as a result of this, the automobile sector of that country can be well migrated in the future. On the other hand, Kiber Holding’s Chief Corporate Development Officer Gokhan Lokmanoglu pointed to the growing demand for motorcycles in the Turkish market.
He said the alliance with Royal Enfield will cater to the needs of bike lovers. K-Rides will build a comprehensive retail ecosystem in the country. Besides, aftermarket service, rides and various community events will be organized, he said.
Note that Kiber Holding is currently involved in Metal, Mobility, Building Materials, Construction, Logistics Services, International Trading and other businesses. So, the partnership with K-Rides not only gives Royal Enfield a good start in business in Turkey, but also gives them a big area for business expansion.
