Reliance Jio has announced that the tariff of all its unlimited plans will be increased from July 3, 2024. Naturally, customers rushed to recharge their preferred plans before the price hike. So that they don't have to recharge the new plan soon. However, Jio has stopped two plans of Rs 395 and Rs 1559, giving a shock to the customers.
These two plans of Jio offered unlimited 5G internet data with long validity. But from now on this benefit will not be available. Customers cannot recharge these two plans now. Note that the Rs 395 plan offered a validity of 84 days and the Rs 1559 plan offered a validity of 336 days.
However, Reliance Jio's other plans are still being recharged from the website and app and these recharge packs will be effective after the current plan expires. However, Jio's Rs 395 and Rs 1,559 plans can no longer be recharged.
Jio has increased the price of their recharge plan up to Rs 600. Now the price of the company's Rs 155 plan has been increased by 22% to Rs 189. Jio's decision to increase revenue per customer.
