Redmi Watch 2 was revealed along with Redmi Note 11 series in China. The smartwatch is the successor to the last year launched Redmi Watch. The company has upgraded the display, added new watch faces, and some minor changes. The watch looks similar in terms of design, sports the same sensors, have GPS support, and more.

Redmi Watch 2 features a 1.6 inches AMOLED display with 320 x 360 pixels resolution and is bundled with 100+ custom watch faces. In terms of Dimensions, the watch measures 39.1 x 34.4 x 9.98mm without the strap and weighs 31g only with the strap. Like the Redmi Watch, it also comes with a polycarbonate build and comes with detachable TPU straps. It boasts 5 ATM water and dust resistance.
The smartwatch comes with 117 sports modes including running, cycling, swimming, and more with automatic detection of the sport. Sensors onboard, The watch features a Spo2 sensor for blood oxygen level measurement, an accelerometer, a compass, an ambient light sensor for auto-brightness, and a heart rate sensor. Like other watches in this price range, it also comes running with RTOS out of the box.
The Redmi Watch 2 features GNSS (BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO) for accurate activity tracking. It is backed with a 225mah battery that can provide a continuous 18 hours battery backup when GNSS is used continuously, 12 days on normal usage. Additionally, the smartwatch comes with NFC, sleep tracking, stress monitoring, menstrual cycle tracking, breathing exercise, Xiao AI device controls, and more.
Redmi Watch 2 Price and Availability
Redmi Watch 2 is priced at 399 yuan but it will be sold for 39 yuan in the first sale which is scheduled on November 1 at 12 AM via JD.com, mi online store, and more. The smartwatch comes in three colour options namely Elegant Black, Space Blue, and Ivory White but users can opt for three additional strap colours Pine Needle Green, Light Brown Tea, and Cherry Blossom Powder.
