Redmi gaming phone with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC has been rumoured to be launched this month. Interestingly, Realme also launched its Realme GT Neo with the same chipset in China. It is believed that the Redmi Gaming smartphone could be launch under the POCO branding in India.

Xiaomi is all set to launch the first-ever Gaming smartphone under Redmi branding. Recently, A reliable Chinese tipster channel named Digital Chat station shared that Redmi is planning to launch a gaming smartphone that might be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset.
The handset is said to be codenamed Ares and it is expected to come with a quad-camera setup headlined by a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel main lens. Sadly, there is no other information available related to the specs of the device.
In related news, The Indian version of the Redmi Gaming smartphone with model number M2104K10I has recently appeared in the country’s IMEI database. The listing unveiled that this device could arrive in India with a POCO branding. MediaTek Dimensity 1200 is not a bad chipset, even in some scenarios, it outperforms the flagship-grade performance Snapdragon 870 due to which the Redmi Gaming smartphone may possibly debut as an F-series flagship.
