Realme GT 2 was announced silently in India as the new affordable flagship smartphone. Earlier, this month the company unveiled the Realme GT2 Pro and now the GT2 model went official. The new device comes with a fast refresh rate AMOLED display, triple rear camera, big battery, fast charging, Qualcomm’s flagship processor, and more.

Realme GT 2 flaunts a 6.62 inches E4 AMOLED display with 120Hz fast refresh rate, Full-HD+ resolution, 720Hz touch sampling rate/1000Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1300nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Gorilla Glass 5 protection. In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 162.9 x 75.8 x 8.6mm and weighs 199.8 grams. It comes running on Android 12 with realme UI 3.0 skin on top.
Under the hood, the phone is powered with a Snapdragon 888 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Adreno 660 GPU. The company has bundled a diamond ice core cooling system to prevent throttling. It is accompanied by up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot. The device is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 65W fast charging. For selfies, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top left corner.
In terms of camera, Realme GT 2 smartphone features a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with 119 degree Field of View, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For connectivity, the phone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Additionally, the device comes with an Ultra-fast in-display fingerprint Sensor that supports Heart Rate monitoring, dual noise cancellation mics, dual speakers with Hi-Res audio support, Dolby atmos support, and X-axis linear motor.

Realme GT 2 comes in two configurations:

- 12GB + 256GB priced at Rs. 38,999
