Realme 9 Pro 5G was revealed in India along with Realme 9 Pro+. The company finally unveiled the successor of Realme 8 Pro which went official last year as the company’s first smartphone with a 108MP rear camera in India. It comes with Light Shift Design in which the rear panel changes from light blue to red when exposed to sunlight or UV light.

Realme 9 Pro 5G features a 6.6 inches IPS LCD display with Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2412 pixels ) resolution, 120 Hz Refresh Rate, 20.1:9 Aspect Ratio, 90.80% Screen-to-Body Ratio, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits brightness, and 96% Color Saturation. Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered with a Snapdragon 695 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Adreno 619 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 of internal storage with a microSD card slot.
In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel OmniVision main sensor with f/1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel OmniVision OV08D10 ultrawide sensor with 119.9-degree FoV ( Field of View ), and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, the phone sports a 16-megapixel with Sony IMX471 front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top left corner. The company bundled the EIS-stabilization support in both rear and front cameras. The device comes running on Android 12 with realme UI 3.0 skin on top.
The smartphone is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 33W fast charging. For connectivity, the phone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/a/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 164.3 x 75.6 x 8.5mm and weighs 195 grams.
