Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ launched 10% faster than Snapdragon 865

Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ launched, the most powerful mobile chipset in Android. It is designed to boost the gaming experience in a smartphone. The most powerful chipset by Qualcomm includes support like update able GPU drivers and desktop forward rendering for ultra-smooth 5G gameplay at lightning speeds of up to 144 fps, and True 10-bit HDR gaming to provide cinematic detail in over a billion shades of color. 


Three Major improvement in Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ from Snapdragon 865

  • The Kryo™ 585 CPU Prime core clock speed at up to 3.1 GHz, which is 10% higher than Snapdragon 865
  • The Adreno™ 650 GPU also boosts up to 10%, which provides faster graphics rendering.
  • Qualcomm introduced Qualcomm® FastConnect™ 6900, which offers boasting staggering Wi-Fi speeds for up to 3.6 Gbps.


Alex katouzian vice president and General Manager of Qualcomm said ” As we work to scale 5G, we continue to invest in our premium tier, 8-series mobile platforms, to push the envelope in terms of performance and power efficiency and deliver the next generation of camera, AI and gaming experiences

Asus ROG Phone 3 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+


Asus ROG will be the first flagship smartphone comes Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+. Bryan Chang, general manager of the smartphone business unit, ASUS, said “ASUS is excited to once again offer users the best possible mobile gaming experience with the next generation ROG Phone 3, which will be powered by the new Snapdragon 865 Plus Mobile Platform”.

“Full specifications for the ROG Phone 3 will be announced in the coming weeks, but the addition of the Snapdragon 865 Plus ensures that the overall performance will take yet another leap forward” he added


Lenovo Gaming phone will also equip with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+


Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone also comes with Snapdragon 865 plus confirmed by Jerry Tsao, vice president of Lenovo’s Mobile Gaming Group. With the conversation of Qualcomm he said “Innovating smarter, faster technology for higher performance and better gaming experience has always been a hallmark of Lenovo™ Legion”.

“Three years after the launch of the Lenovo Legion™ PC portfolio, we’re bringing our beloved gaming sub-brands core values of speed and powerful performance to 5G mobile gaming – where Lenovo Legion will be amongst the first to offer the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ in our expanding family of gaming devices this year”. It is expected that Lenovo legion gaming smartphone may launch at the end of the month or at the starting of August. The Antutu benchmark of the phone also leaked on Weibo, which is 646310.
