Hero Motocorp is bringing a new bike. But this is not a completely new model. 2024 edition of the company's premium commuter motorcycle Xtreme 160R 4V. While not announcing the launch date, Hero has released a teaser image of the bike online. Besides, the company has also informed about the features of 2024 Extreme 160R 4V.
2024 Hero Extreme 160R 4V Features
The teaser video shows the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V in new color schemes, which are Bronze and Black. Along with the innovation can be noticed in the graphics. The new edition of the bike will have dual channel ABS, whereas the current model has only single channel ABS. At the same time Hero has changed the seat of the bike. A single piece seat has been added keeping in mind the comfort of the pillion rider. Earlier there was a split seat setup.
Apart from this, two new features added by Hero are drug race timer and panic brake alert. Both these are segment first features. The first allows for time tracking at 60km from zero and 402m sprint from zero. Adding a panic brake alert for safety is a good step, even if it doesn't help much.
Other specifications of the 2024 Hero Extreme 160R 4V can be assumed to remain unchanged. It will have a 163.2 cc single cylinder air/oil cooled engine, capable of producing 16.6 bhp of power and 14.6 Nm of torque. For suspension, the bike will get a USD fork at the front. Single discs are available in two-wheelers. The price of the current model of the bike starts from Tk 1.27 lakh (ex-showroom).
