POCO M2 teased with Quad rear camera setup, rumored to be rebranded version of Redmi 9 Prime: report


POCO M2 teased with Quad rear camera setup. It is rumored to be a rebranded version of Redmi 9 Prime. As per the teaser, The smartphone comes with a waterdrop notch design display. It might be run on POCO, which is based on Android 10 out of the box.



POCO continues its rebranding strategy, POCO M2 teased with Quad rear camera setup that seems to be similar as Xiaomi Redmi 9 Prime.

Redmi 9 prime features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core chipset and paired up to 4GB of RAM. It is equipped with a Quad rear camera setup that includes a 13-Megapixel (Primary) sensor + 8-Megapixel (Ultrawide) sensor + 5-Megapixel sensor (Macro) + 2-Megapixel (depth) sensor. On the front, the smartphone comes with an 8-Megapixel sensor.


It packs with a 5020mah monster battery and support of 18W fast charging.
Redmi 9 Prime comes in two variants 4GB/64GB, and 4GB/128GB and the base variant costs at Rs. 9,999 whereas the 128GB storage option carries a price tag of Rs. 11,999. It is also rumored that POCO M2 comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage variant as well.
