Oppo Reno 6 Pro Plus with Snapdragon 870 SoC spotted on Geekbench Listing

Oppo Reno 6 Pro Plus has been spotted with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. It is the successor of the Oppo Reno 5 Pro Plus which was announced back in December. Previously, The Reno 6 Pro plus also surfaced on China’s TENAA and 3C certification site.

Oppo is all set to launch its next-generation Reno series on May 27 in China. Ahead of the launch, Recently, A smartphone from the Oppo Reno 6 series spotted on the Geekbench Listing which revealed some of its key specifications. As per the Listing, Oppo reno 6 Pro Plus (model number PENM00) will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, run on Android 11 OS, and may couple with 12GB RAM.


Coming to the Geekbench scores, The smartphone managed to score 4649 points on the single-core test and 12712 points on the multi-core test. As earlier mentioned, The same model number device also spotted on China’s TENAA and 3C certification.


As per the previous reports, The OPPO Reno6 Pro+ 5G will feature a 6.55-inches AMOLED FHD+ display with a punch-hole cutout on the top left corner, an in-display fingerprint reader, may equip with a quad rear camera setup that might include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 (primary) camera + 16-megapixel (ultrawide) sensor + 13-megapixel (telephoto) camera + 2-megapixel (macro) camera and a 32-megapixel front-facing shooter. It will be fueled by a 4,500mAh battery and may support 65W fast charging technology. The high-end variant is expected to be pack with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage while the base variant might have 8GB + 128GB storage.


Apart from the Oppo Reno 6 Pro Plus, The Chinese tech company may also launch two more devices in its upcoming Reno 6 series – Reno 6 & Reno 6 Pro.
