Oppo A55s 5G was revealed in Japan as the new budget 5G smartphone from the Chinese Tech Giant. The phone comes with a fast refresh rate punch-hole display, dual rear camera, 4000mah battery, Snapdragon entry-level 5G chipset, and more. Although the A55s renders have been leaked online earlier and it is also spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 480 chipset.

Oppo A55s features a 6.5 inches LCD display with a 90Hz fast refresh rate, Full-HD+ resolution, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 405PPi pixel density. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a Snapdragon 480 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Adreno 619 GPU. It is accompanied by 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot.
In terms of camera. the smartphone boasts a dual rear camera that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top left corner with f/2.0 aperture. The device is running on Android 11 with Color OS 11 skin on top.
The smartphone is packed with a 4000mah battery and supports 10W charging. For connectivity, the phone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Oppo A55s 5G comes in a solo configuration of 4GB + 64GB priced at 33,800 JPY ( Rs. 22,000 approx ) and the smartphone comes in two color options namely black, and green. The phone is available for pre-registration via Softbank, Rakuten Mobile, and more in the country.
