Ola Electric today launched their first electric motorcycle on the occasion of India's 78th Independence Day. At an event called Sankalp, the company has introduced a state-of-the-art e-bike, which is available in three variants and multiple battery options. The model is called Roadster and it comes in three variants namely Roadster, Roadster X, and Roadster Pro. After storming the world of electric scooters, it is believed that Ola will make a splash in the e-bike market as well.
Ola Roadster X: Battery, Range, Speed and Price
Ola Roadster X comes as the entry level model. It is available in 2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, and 4.5 kWh battery versions. Prices are Rs 74,999, Rs 84,999 and Rs 99,999 respectively (ex-showroom). The bike can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 124 kmph. The company claims that it can run 200 kilometers on a full charge. Features of the bike include 4.3 inch LCD display, 18 inch alloy wheels, and twin shock suspension.
Ola Roadster: Battery, Range, Speed and Price
The mid-variant Ola Roadster comes in 3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh, and 6 kWh battery options. Prices are Rs 1,04,999, Rs 1,19,999 and Rs 1,39,999 respectively. The bike can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 2.2 seconds. And the maximum speed is 126 km per hour. The company claims that it can run 248 kilometers on a full charge. The peak power of the electric motor is 13 kW. The Ola Roadster offers projector headlamps, 7-inch touchscreen display, aluminum sub frame, and diamond cut alloy wheels.
Ola Roadster Pro: Battery, Range, Speed and Price
Ola Roadster Pro is the company's flagship model. You will be surprised to hear that the company claims a range of 579 km in this electric bike. No other EV two-wheeler in the world offers this much range. It has liquid cooled motor and battery pack. 52 kW of peak power and 105 Nm of torque will be available.
Ola Roadster Pro offers various advanced features including ABS, Advanced Driver Assistance System, Traction Control, Emergency SOS, Ride Mode, 10 inch TFT Display, Upside Down Fork. The 8 and 16 KW battery variants of the bike are priced at Tk 1,99,99 and Tk 2,49,999 respectively (ex-showroom).
