February 2024 brings a bunch of happy news for two wheeler lovers. Since the start of the month, various companies have been announcing discounts, along with news of price cuts. In this priceless market that is making buyers smile even wider. Companies like Ola Electric also announced a price cut this time. S1 Pro, S1 Air and S1 X+ models have received a price cut of Rs 25,000 each. But this offer is valid only till February.
S1 Pro, S1 Air and S1 X+ prices reduced by Rs 25,000
As a result of the price cut, the S1 Pro, S1 Air and S1 X+ will now cost Rs 1.30 lakh, 1.05 lakh and 85,000 (ex-showroom) respectively. If you thought that this is the first time that Ola is announcing a price cut on their electric scooters, it’s not like that at all. In fact, earlier in January too, the company had given a flat discount of Rs 20,000 on the S1 X+ model. Again, the S1 Pro and S1 Air models were given an extended warranty of Rs 6,999 and an exchange bonus of Rs 3,000.
Back in January, a discount of Rs 5,000 was offered on select credit cards. The finance options included zero downpayment, no cost EMI, zero processing fee and an interest rate of 7.99 percent. Note that Ola has recently started offering 8 years / 80,000 km (whichever is earlier) warranty on the batteries of the S1 Pro and S1 Air. Along with this, there is an option to extend the warranty up to 1 lakh kilometers by paying Tk 5,000. If you pay 12,500 rupees, you will get extended warranty up to 1.25 lakh kilometers.
Currently Ola is working on their electric motorcycle. Which could be launched later this year. On the other hand recently Ola has rolled out MoveOS 4 software. As a result, users can now enjoy the benefits of biometric app lock, hill hold and hill descent control, garage mode, profile control, faster hyper charging, improved re-generation, care mode, concert mode, more range and improved proximity unlock. Cruise control feature will be available in eco mode. Other added features include – auto turn indicator cut off, music new trip meter and headphone control for calls, take me home light, favorite contacts etc.
