Demand for electric cars in the country is increasing day by day. Companies like Ola Electric are in the market. But this time the big push is to the organization led by Vavish Agarwal. The Maharashtra government's transport department has recently launched an operation in more than 5 ola electric showrooms.
According to the CNBCTV18 report, out of the 3 showrooms of Ola Electric, 4 showrooms have been accused of violating the rules. Of these, 5 showrooms have been sent notice and 3 showrooms have already been closed. In addition, 20 electric scooters were seized in the operation.
According to the report, the real reason for the expedition was the lack of “trade certificates”. This certificate is mandatory for any car in India or for a test drive. It is a legal crime to sell a car without it.
Immediately after the campaign, the Joint Transport Commissioner of Maharashtra directed all RTO office to close the login ID of illegal showrooms within 24 hours. It goes without saying that Ola electric is about to push. However, the company has not yet received any response.
