Ola Electric responded to the country's 78th Independence Day yesterday by launching its first electric bike, the Roadster. This e-bike claims all such features and specifications that the eyes are bound to rise. Ola, on the other hand, is keen to diversify its electric scooter portfolio. The company gave a glimpse of their future electric scooters through a presentation.
Ola Electric is reportedly working on five new electric scooters. These will be released in different segments. The company will expand its electric vehicle range through the S2 and S3 brands. Ola's current models are sold under the S1 brand. Ola is expected to launch more premium battery-powered scooters using the S2 and S3 names.
At the presentation, Ola talked about five e-scooters, which are its future products. The S2 series will have three types of electric scooters – City, Tourer, and Sport. On the other hand, the S3 lineup will feature Grand Adventure and Grand Tourer scooters. Remember, these are still in the early stages. As a result, it will take a long time to reach the market.
Meanwhile, talking about the Ola Roadster bike, it is available in three variants namely Roadster, Roadster X, and Roadster Pro. Prices range from Rs 74,999 to Rs 2,49,999 (ex-showroom) for the top-of-the-line model. You will be surprised to hear that the company claims a range of 579 km in the Roadster Pro model. Along with advanced driver assistance system like expensive cars.
