Ola Electric, the country’s largest e-scooter maker, has confirmed that it will launch its first electric vehicle within the next year. But so far there is no clear idea about what the car will look like. Although a concept image was released by the company, the reality was less. Again only the body outline pictures of the EV model were revealed in the dark. Increasing speculation, now the news of the patent design of the car has been leaked.
Ola’s Electric Car Design Revealed
His upcoming electric car design patent has been leaked. Apparently, it is not yet ready for concept model and production. Recently, Ola’s Chief Financial Officer GR Arun Kumar confirmed that their electric car will be launched in the second half of 2024.
The overall design of the Ola Concept EV is eye-catching. But the headlights, ORVMs, oversized wheels seen in the pictures are a far cry from the production ready model. The futuristic looking car is reminiscent of the world famous EV manufacturer Tesla. It features four doors, a coupe-like roofline, and aerodynamically optimized design.
However, no information about the specifications of this electric car of Ola has come out yet. Earlier it was claimed that the car will cover 500 km on a full charge. And the price will be charged less than 40 lakhs. Meanwhile, Ola has set up its own battery cell manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu. Presumably, the electric car will appear with the company’s own battery cells. After the launch it will compete with the likes of Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6.
