Oben Electric has announced the opening of three new showrooms in Delhi NCR, Pune and Kerala. Again, they are planning to open 50 showrooms in 12 major cities of the country within the financial year 2024-25.
Bangalore-based electric bike maker Oben Electric is ramping up its business expansion in India. The organization is moving forward with the goal of opening e-bike outlets in different cities of the country. Their journey began with the launch of the Rorr model last year in Bengaluru. This time they have also set foot in Delhi NCR, Pune and Kerala. Recently four new showrooms of Oben have been inaugurated in Bengaluru. The company is moving ahead with the plan to open 50 showrooms in 12 major cities of the country by the financial year 2024-25.
Oben Electric to open 50 new showrooms in India
Outside Bengaluru, Oben Electric has opened outlets in Pitampura in Delhi, Wakad in Pune and Kochi and Trivandrum in Kerala. They have showrooms in Banashankari, Rajajinagar, and Electronic City in Bangalore. They have a total of eight showrooms there, which are fully under the control of the company.

Oben's new experience centers will have larger spaces. There will even be dedicated space for accessories and providing a better customer experience. Incidentally, Oben currently sells only one electric motorcycle, the Rorr. In terms of performance it is at par with 150-160 cc petrol bikes.
8 kW of power is generated from the PMS motor present in Oben Rorr. It takes just 3 seconds to accelerate from 0-40 km/h. The maximum speed is 100 km per hour. The company claims that the 4.4 kW LPF battery gives a range of 187 km on a full charge. The battery takes 2.5 hours to charge from 0-100%. The bike is priced at Tk 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
