India's two-wheeler market outlook has started the month of May with a bang. Because the most powerful Pulsar, Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z was launched last week. But it would be wrong to think that this is the only surprise. Although there is no official word, there are speculations that some more new two-wheelers may be launched this month. Hero Xoom 125/Xoom 160
Hero MotoCorp unveiled the new Xoom range of scooters on World Hero Day this year. Which includes Hero Xoom 125 and Hero Xoom 160. The company may launch both or any one of these models this month. The Xoom 125 is expected to be based on the platform of the company's 125cc scooter Destini. However, the Xoom 160 will be offered with a completely new architecture and powertrain.
Bajaj Chetak New Variant
Bajaj Chetak is currently sold in two trims – Urbane and Premium. This time Bajaj is going to bring a cheaper new variant of this battery operated Chetak. If all goes well, the launch is likely by the end of May. While the detailed specifications of the model are not known yet, it is expected to come with a different powertrain from the existing Chetak lineup. The price will be much lower.
2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 250
In January 2024, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and the new generation Vitpilen 250 were launched in the Indian market. At the time of the launch of the pair of bikes, the company said that they will launch several more models this year. The Swedish company is said to be bringing an updated version of the Svartpilen 250 by the end of May. It is also expected to get the same update as Vitpilen 250.
