Not Jio, Airtel, Vodafone Idea offers cheapest Netflix subscription

Netflix partners with Vodafone Idea to launch two prepaid entertainment plans

Indian telecom company Vodafone Idea (VI) today launched two prepaid plans with Netflix subscription. The company said the partnership will allow its users to watch Netflix's premium content on a variety of devices, including mobile phones, televisions and tablets. Incidentally, although the telco has only launched this facility for its prepaid customers at the moment, Vodafone Idea has confirmed that they will soon launch a postpaid plan with Netflix subscription.

Unlimited prepaid pack of VI

Vodafone Idea recently launched two new unlimited prepaid packs, which offer unlimited calls and data along with a basic subscription to Netflix. And these two plans are priced at Tk 998 and Tk 1,399 respectively.

Vodafone Idea's Rs 998 prepaid plan offers 70 days validity. Note that customers in Mumbai and Gujarat will also get this offer for 70 days, but they will have to spend Rs 1,099 for it.

This plan offers Netflix Basic subscription for TV and mobile with 1.5 GB data per day, 100 SMS per day and unlimited voice calls completely free.

1,399 prepaid plan of Vodafone Idea

Vodafone Idea's second plan is priced at Rs 1,399 with a validity of 84 days. And it comes with basic Netflix subscription for TV and mobile, 2.5GB data per day, 100 SMS per day and unlimited voice calls.

Also, Vi users will also get benefits like Data Delight, Binge All Night and Weekend Data Rollover with this plan with 84 days validity.

The telco claims that they are currently the only telecom operator in India to offer a basic subscription to Netflix with a prepaid plan priced below Rs 1,000.
