According to the company, 13,400 units of the Made in India scooty were exported to Europe between January and July 2024.

The Indian-made Yamaha Ray ZR 125 is sold in 27 European countries, including the UK, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Switzerland, Greece and Portugal. Quality standards in these countries are very strict. As a result, the acceptance of the scooter in the foreign market is increasing due to better quality. Ishin Chihana, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India said, “It is indeed a proud moment that the Made-in-India, Yamaha Ray ZR 125 FI Hybrid is witnessing such a tremendous response in Europe.”

The scooter's significant sales growth highlights our ability to meet high expectations not only in India but also in other mature markets like Europe, he added. Note that this Yamaha scooter is known for its dynamic design and powerful performance. Good mileage and advanced features are available. It has digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, front disc brakes. Its 125 cc air cooled engine produces 8.2 PS of power and 10.3 Nm of torque. Prices in India range between Rs 85,030 and Rs 92,630 (ex-showroom).
