Nokia G21 was announced in India as the new budget smartphone from the HMD Global-owned tech giant. Nokia G21 flaunts a 6.5 inches LCD display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution, 90Hz fast refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio. In terms of camera, the smartphone features a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. The device is running on Android 11 out of the box. It also comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button.
In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 164.6 x 75.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs 190 grams. For selfies, the phone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Nokia G21 is backed by a 5050mah battery and supports 18W fast charging but the company bundled a 10W charger.
Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with a Unisoc T606 octa-core processor that comes coupled with Arm Mali G57 MP1 GPU. It is accompanied by 4GB/64GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot up to 512GB. Sensors onboard, the phone sports an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
