Bajaj has stopped the sale of several motorcycles with the beginning of the new year. Which includes the Pulsar F250. But surprisingly, the company has also decided to stop selling value-for-money commuter bikes like Platina 110 ABS and CT 125X. Every model has been removed from Bajaj's official website.
Bajaj CT 125X has been discontinued in India
Pulsar F250, Platina 110 with ABS and CT 125X have been discontinued due to low demand and poor sales. News is starting to surface that dealers are not sending new stock. This CT 125X model was known as a rugged commuter bike. The company's lineup sold above the CT 110X.
One of the USPs of the CT 125X was performance. It offered the performance of a 125 cc engine at the price of a 110 cc motorcycle. Its 124.4 cc single cylinder, air cooled powertrain produced 10.7 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine was mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Touted as a rough-and-tough bike, the Bajaj City 125X was launched in India in August 2022. The price at the time was Rs 71,354 (ex-showroom). The engine of Discover 125 was used in it. Features include disc brakes, USB charging port, LED DRLs on the cowl. Competition was going on with Hero Super Splendor and Honda Sign in the domestic market.
