Nissan has already unveiled its new three-row SUV X-Trail in India. Automobile experts believe that it can beat cars like the Toyota Fortuner. Currently, this is going to be Nissan's second car in the country after the Magnite. The official launch and pricing will be announced on August 1.
The Nissan X-Trail will be available in just one variant in India. Talking about the performance, the car is powered by a 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine, which will produce a maximum power of 160 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. It will accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 9.6 seconds. Note that the strong hybrid engine is not available in the Indian model like the global version.
Notable features of the Nissan X-Trail SUV include eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging pad, front and rear parking sensors, 360-degree camera, seven airbags, dual Zone AC, paddle shifters, panoramic sunroof, and electric parking brake.
The Nissan X-Trail SUV will be completely manufactured and imported into India The price is expected to be between Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from Toyota Fortuner, the car will compete with Skoda Kodiaq and Jeep Meridian in the Indian market.
