Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and NS200 have arrived in new avatars as promised. Responding to all the criticism from the critics, Bajaj has launched two bikes in India with modern features. The new updated versions of Pulsar NS160 and NS200, which are very popular among the youth, are priced at Rs 1.46 lakh and Rs 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. From the design to the features list, there have been a number of changes, which experts say will help keep up with the times.
2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 & NS200: Design
A glance at the design at the outset shows that the NS 160 and NS 200 have seen the most significant change in the headlight unit. Instead of the halogens from birth, the new model has LED headlights. However, the headlight housing remains the same as the previous version. However, the DRLs associated with the headlights are located on either side of the LED lights, which look like thunderbolts.
Both these bikes of Bajaj’s popular NS series get LED lights for the first time. On the other hand, it has muscular fuel tank and other body panels with sharp design. Apart from this, the split seat setup has been given as before. The overall naked street fighter look of both the bikes remains unchanged.

Apart from the design changes, various modern features have been brought to these two old bikes of Bajaj. Until now semi-digital instrument consoles were seen. There is a new digital display in the new model. Through which the most essential information like odometer, speedometer, tachometer, fuel indicator etc. can be seen as well as smartphone connectivity option. By connecting with the mobile phone, the rider will receive calls and SMS alerts on the bike’s instrument console.
2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 & NS200: Engine, Hardware
Engine specifications, however, remain unchanged. Bajaj Pulsar NS160 gets 16.96 bhp of power and 14.6 Nm of torque from its 160.3 cc engine. And the NS200’s 199.5cc engine produces 24.16bhp at 9,750rpm and 18.74Nm of torque at 8,000rpm.
The bikes have USD forks at the front and monoshock absorbers at the rear to handle the suspension duties. And the braking system includes dual channel ABS with disc brakes on both the wheels. There are 17-inch alloy wheels at the front and rear.
