Infinix is about to bring a new phone under their Smart series to India. Named Infinix Smart 8 Plus. While the budget friendly smartphone was revealed last month, the launch date was unclear till now. Finally, the launch date has also been revealed by the company. The Infinix Smart 8 Plus will arrive in India early next month at an affordable price. Let’s get to know the handset in detail before the launch.
Infinix Smart 8 Plus will be launched in India on this date
The Chinese company has officially announced that the Infinix Smart 8 Plus will be launched in India on March 1 The launch date was revealed via a microsite, which went live on the popular e-retailer Flipkart’s platform in the country. The teaser also confirmed that the Smart 8 Plus will be powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery, which will support 18W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. Notably, the upcoming handset features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel, which offers HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
For photography, the phone has a 50-megapixel dual camera setup on the back, which is paired with a quad-LED flash module. And there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front of the phone and Apple’s Dynamic Island-like feature surrounds this camera cutout.
Other notable features of the Infinix Smart 8 Plus include a microSD card slot for storage expansion and XOS 13 custom skin based on Android 13 Go Edition. Also, it will get a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. Infinix has not yet revealed the price of the phone but it is rumored to be around Rs 7,000. Finally, it is known that the Infinix Smart 8 Plus will come in Timber Black, Galaxy White and Shiny Gold color options.
