Motorola has announced the Moto G42 in Brazil as the new 4G smartphone along with the Moto G62 5G. The device comes with a triple rear camera, punch-hole display, Snapdragon 600 series 4G SoC, big battery, fast charging, USB Type-C port, NFC, and more.

Motorola Moto G42 flaunts a 6.4 inches gOLED display with Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio. Coming to optics the phone features a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, the device boasts a 16-megapixel selfie camera under the punch-hole at the top center.
Under the hood, the smartphone is fueled by Snapdragon 680 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. The device is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for additional storage. The phone is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 20W fast turbo charge technology.
It comes running on Android 12 out of the box with My UX skin on top. For connectivity, the phone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 160.4 x 73.5 x 7.99mm and weighs around 174.5 grams. Additionally, the Moto G42 comes with stereo dual speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Moto G42 pricing is not revealed yet and the company offered the phone in two color options namely rose and blue color. It is listed on the company’s official website in Brazil and it is expected to launch in other markets very soon.
