Moto G100 aka Moto Edge S all set to launch in India in February

Moto G100 aka Moto Edge S has been rumoured to be launched in India in February. Yesterday, the Lenovo-owned company announced the world’s first smartphone with Snapdragon 870 chipset in China. As per the earlier report, Moto edge S will introduce in the international market as the Moto G100.


Motorola all set to unveil the Moto G100 aka Moto edge S in India in February. Today, A reliable tipster named @Gadgetsdata confirmed that the Motorola edge S & a Budget centric Moto G series Device will launch in India next month. As per the report, the launch event is scheduled to be held in either mid-February or at the end of February.

Moto edge S comes with a 6.7 inches IPS LCD FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. In terms of camera, the smartphone has a  quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-Megapixel (primary) camera + 16-Megapixel (Ultrawide) + 2-Megapixel (macro) + ToF lens. For selfie & video, It includes dual 16-Megapixel + 8-Megapixel front-facing camera setup. Moto Edge S is powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC and paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM + 256GB of UFS storage.


The handset packs a 5000mah battery and includes the 20W fast charging technology. It runs on Android 11 out of the box and comes in Blue & Silver colour option. Moto G100 aka Moto edge S is up for pre-order at a starting price of 1999 Yuan (around Rs.22,530) for 6GB + 128GB storage in China.
