MIUI 12 Global stable ROM Update rolled out for POCO X2 users in India

MIUI 12 Global stable ROM Update has been rolled out for POCO X2 users in India. Users are posting screenshots of receiving the update on their devices across all the social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Moreover, POCO X2 becomes the first smartphone from POCO that received MIUI12 stable ROM Update.

POCO X2 Users finally update their smartphones from MIUI11 to MIUI12 which carries a variety of new features such as flatter and more simplified interface, redesign system animations, Android 10-like navigation gestures, and much more. Social media users are sharing screenshots of getting the MIUI 12 update on their Poco X2 phones.


According to the user’s screenshots, The build number of the latest update is MIUI12.0.1.0.QGHINXM and the latest size are listed to be 813MB.¬†Interestingly, Xiaomi also announced the MIUI 12 update for the Poco F2 Pro and Pocophone F1 global units at the starting of the month.

As mentioned, the update brings new system animations, new simpler and cleaner graphic design, and advancements to the floating windows feature. The changelog notes that MIUI 12 is the first Android-based mobile OS that went through the testing of rigorous enhanced privacy protection. It brings along a new Control Center design as well which looks similar to Apple IOS.


Poco said many of POCO X2 users already got a notification to download MIUI 12 on their phones. If someone hasn’t received a notification, then the users have to check for the update manually in Settings. Poco also executing a soak test to confirm no critical bugs are there in the stable update before rolling it out to a mass audience.
